With its 365 islands, Angra dos Reis has a privileged seaside. The beauty of the sea and the city's charms make it a popular destination throughout the year. Castelhanos Lighthouse


Built in 1900, in Ilha Grande, is one of the oldest lighthouses on the Brazilian coast in operation.

Among the old buildings there are the churches of Santa Luzia, the Church of Nossa Senhora of da Conceição and the convents of São Bernardino de Sena  and Nossa Senhora do Carmo, whose construction began in the sixteenth century. In the Church of Nossa Senhora da Lapa, 1752, operates a museum of sacred art with a rich collection.


Boat Trips




The main attraction of the route of  Angra is the island of Gipóia. The Dentistabeach has a clear green
water, white sand and almond trees. The Boaters Association rents fishing boats for distant satellites in the center of Angra.

Agencies offer horseback riding, buggy, bicycle or jeep. There are programs for trekking, rafting and rappelling.

Beaches
The archipelago of Angra offers beaches for everyone's tastes. Whoever seeks to hype will enjoy the beaches and Jurubaíba and Dentista in Gipóia island. The beaches of Caxadaço, East, South, Aventureiro, Mangues and Saco do Céu are ideal for those looking for tranquility close to nature. The choppy waters of the Lopes Mendes beach - one of the prettiest in the region – invites you to surf.  Ponta, Gruta do Acaiá and Lagoa Azul  are ideal for fishing and diving.

Passa Quatro - Minas Gerais

Similar and near to Itanhandu , Passa Quatro is a small town. The city is known by it's hydrothermal resources and it's an ecotourism region. The main attractions are the mountains, waterfalls, farms, fishing activities. There's an important tourist program, the ride on the "Serra da Mantiqueira" steam train (trem da Serra da Mantiqueira or Maria Fumaça, as they call it). Other interesting things you can find in Passa Quatro are, for example, the old mansions, "Casa da Cultura", the "Biblioteca Municipal", the museum "Brasil Nota 10" and the "Casa do Artesão" There are also many other nice things you will certainly find if you come to Passa Quatro!
