Discovering Brazil

Located between Barra da Tijuca and Recreio, in my opinion, one of most calm beaches of Rio de Janeiro city. As it's access is a little difficult (only by car, foot or bike) that beach is not so full of people as the majority of others in Rio. It is a perfect beach for families and calm people who does't like great agglomerations, although you may miss bathrooms, kiosks and other commodities. This is Paraty, the best city i ever visited in Brazil. A historic, wonderful and very calm place. Many activities to do: boat rides, buy handicraft, walk on the sidewalk. The city is part of the way the Portuguese used in colonial times to carry the gold from Minas Gerais to Rio de Janeiro. Hope you enjoy and visit this magnificient place!
